Day 28 - Getting cold, dark, and busy

The temperature dropped tremendously - I am freezing here now at 11 °C but the good thing is the wind in the last days cleaned the air and at least it feels now fresh and clear.
Good study atmosphere...
Next week is the national Holiday - one week without classes and one week in which I will do more classical sightseeing and a trip to Inner Mongolia. (Camel riding, sleeping in a yurt etc.)
As if some teachers didn't know the upcoming holiday, they rescheduled their classes to the SUNDAY before national holiday... Super!
The holiday will be quite busy because the following list of "sightseeing" events is planned:
  • Tian'anmen square
  • Forbidden City
  • The Summer palace
  • Temple of Heaven
  • The "birds nest"
  • Project 798
  • Shopping at the silk street or wherever
  • Sanlitun at night etc.
  • The great Wall (but where?)
  • Inner Mongolia
If you have any insider tips, I missed something important, or you know anything else please tell me.

For today I am fine with a cup of instant noodles and say good bye!

PS: If you are interested in the menu and prices of the food they offer here in our dining hall you can have a look at this album - I just took some pictures of the orderless paper... (use the "Magnified view" to have a closer look) - today I had the "Sauteed Shredded Pork with Sweet-Bean Sauce" (Page 4) - a classical Beijing dish - it was quite ok ;-)
